Whoa, what's up with LJ's front page?
Anyway, I was pretty much robbed of my weekend... I was forced to go to Saturday school as a make-up for the blackout days. It sucked. Today was my Saturday and Sunday combined. Without being able to stay up late. But I got in some good FFXI time anyway... Heh. And I only go four days this week. Then I'm off on spring break! Fwee!
Ah, it was also my brother's fourth birthday yesterday. He drove me nuts... But he got the Incredibles and Spongebob movies, so I'm happy. I watched the Incredibles this morning in my room. It's so awesome. Love it! Nyeh heh.

Yeah, you know that episode of South Park where they catch Cartman playing tea with his stuffed animals, tape it, and send it into that show, and Cartman turns all red and could barely sputter out how much he hated them because he was so mad? Yeah, that's me at the moment. Tried to find a screenshot of it to show you, but couldn't, so the description of my rage will have to suffice.
They're trying to change us back to a seven-class day schedule. So why am I not happy about that? Because next year I have four A.P. classes, which will mean more homework. Evidently one of the A.P. classes I'm taking is really hard... Almost everyone is getting a C or below in it. Not only that, but book fees are going to double. Everyone is so mad about it... Even the teachers. There's a meeting on Monday about it, when they're going to vote on it. I'm going. And starting an angry mob. Woohoo.
I also got a small letter in the mail today... Saying that my artwork was selected for display. Uh, no. My art teacher gave me a form that I and my dad had to sign to allow them to do so, but I wasn't able to get it in to her because it was given to me on Friday, to be turned in on Saturday, but I didn't go to school Saturday (it was a make-up day for the black out). So I didn't get the form turned in. Which means that my art shouldn't be in the show. But it is, and I'm mad because I want it back. They shouldn't have put it in the show in the first place without my permission!
Ugh... Not to mention that I hate my German class so much that I just want to strangle the nearest person. And FFXI is frustrating me so much. And I left my art tablet at school, which had a picture that I was meaning to scan and CG. And the picture that I'm doing for Sarah (different Sarah), since she gave me those toe socks.

P.S. If one more person makes Jill Valentine blonde, I'm going to shove my foot so far up their ass that they won't be able to do their "paperwork" for a whole freakin' month.

Well, right now I'm finally working on the layout to my website. Unfortunately, since it's tables, that damn ad is back on it. When it was in frames, the ad wouldn't show up because it's only supposed to go in the main frame, and I guess iframes confused it... Heh. Didn't know which frame to go to, so it just didn't appear. Oh well, I like my new layout thus far.
The only problem I'm having is that I want the border to appear on both sides and at the bottom of the table, but not the top. I've gotten it to go to both sides of it, but for some reason it won't do the bottom. Hm.
If anyone knows a free web service that doesn't have ads, then I'd really love to know!

For once I'm not wearing toe socks. 'Cause I didn't feel like fishing clean ones out of my drawer. Oh, I had the best idea ever, yesterday! Just think about it. Toe socks... with pockets. Wouldn't that just be so awesome?

Today I was trying to decide whether I should go to school or not tomorrow, but by the end of the day I answered the question with a big, fat "Hell no." I have German the very last hour, and sometimes that class just ruins my mood for the rest of the day. I just wanted to scream at the teacher because she gave us meaningless busy work. How the hell am I supposed to learn German from a crossword puzzle?
But you know what? The American school system is just crap. Teaching us foreign languages in high school just doesn't work like that. Evidently over 3/4 of the world speaks English because they've learned it ever since the early years in school. So why can't we start learning a foreign language in elementary school?
Oh yeah, that's right.
Because America sucks, and Americans have their head stuck so far up their asses that they think they are so much better than everyone else, no matter how aweful our education system is, or how many people are unemployed, or how bad our economy is. Nope. America is better no matter what. Ugh. Only little more than two hundred years as a nation and we're already a bunch of assholes. I hate this country so much. I feel dirty just being called an American.
I'm being screwed over just because I'm born in this country.

Glenda babysat my second cousin, Mason last night. He's only two months old, and he's so adorable! Not to mention he has tons of hair. And I mean tons! And he's so cute! <3
We have school tomorrow, which is a Saturday, but guess what? I'm not going. My dad alread said that I didn't have to. It was from the ice storm days, when we were out of school for over a week because of it. They've already tacked on four days at the end of the year and got rid of some of our half days and President's Day. What more do they want from us? Ugh...
This blue toolbar and scrollbar from Windows XP is driving me nuts. I want my grey back.
